Life is as we all know it: full of twists, contradictions, pressures and asperities. Life makes us bleed with its sharp edges and winding roads. We consider ourselves to be lucky when compared to those who carry much heavier burdens than our own, forgetting than one second that we can neither predict, nor control, can shatter all our dreams. How would we rebuild our own universe if our existence, or that of a dear one, gravitated around such a diagnosis –irrecoverable paralysis?
Confident, optimistic, Bobi decided to remain a fighter. Being alive after an accident of such graveness is itself a chance. But he needs our solidarity and generosity in order to be able to continue his treatment and lead a normal life. More than ever, he needs to believe in friendship and compassion. Bobi needs hope, support, encouragement, he needs our act of sympathy, whether we’ve known him for a lifetime, or we’ve recently found out about the ordeal he’s going through.
